The 4th MICROSUMMIT – International Conference on Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance (ICiDAR-2023) in association with Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM) Tamilnadu Chapter, was organized by the Department of Microbiology, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals (SDC), SIMATS. In this grand event I BDS students representing the Department of Anatomy, participated in the scientific poster presentations. In this grand Summit, Samruddhi Gandhi and Srivathsan received “Best Poster Award”.

Dr. M. Karthik Ganesh, Assistant Professor & Scientist, Department of Anatomy, SDCH was honoured as Guest Speaker on 18th July 2023 at The Department of Anatomy, Dr. A.L.M. PG Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Taramani Campus, Chennai. He gave his invited lecture entitled "Professional Training in Histology and Histotechniques on Microtomy" and shared his expertise with research scholars and post graduates.
